Once the Redemption Period has elapsed, the domain may be registered by another party.
* Number of days stated in the domain expiration/redemption explanation are approximate.

My domain is in "Redemption." What does that mean?
(See renewal process above.) Once a domain goes into the Redemption Period, it can be obtained by other parties. You may still be able to redeem the domain for up to 30 days by request by sending an email to support@DynomiteHost.com. The fee for reactivating a domain in the Redemption Period is 15 DRYs. At the end of the Redemption Period, the domain(s) will either go into a 5-day delete cycle (at the end of which they will become available for anyone to register) or become available for purchase by third parties.

What is the Auto Renew option
in the registration window?
This is a very useful option that enables domains to be renewed
automatically when they expire.
If you have available DRYs at the expiration, the marked domain(s)
will be renewed automatically.
If you do not have any available DRYs, our system will check
7 days before the domain expires and send an e-mail to the
account owner to purchase more DRYs.

I sold a domain, how can my customer
change the DNS, registrant and contact info himself?
When you sell a domain, you can now move the domain to a new
account, in order to do that you have to:
1. Log into your account at: http://www.DynomiteHost.com/login/
2. Select a profile.
3. Use the option "Listing Domains".
4. Select the domain you wish to modify.
5. Enter the key.
6. In the new window choose, "Transfer to new account".
7. Enter a new account name (that will be the username for
the buyer"
8. Click on "Create new account".
The new account will be fully functional and the customer
will be able to login to his account, modify the domain as
he wants, buy more DRYís and even delete the domain.

Can I delete a domain if I
made a mistake?
Yes, you have 72 Hs to delete a domain and get a credit back into your
account so no money/DRYs are lost. If you delete a domain after that, no
credit can be issued.
To delete a domain, using the "Listing Domains" option, select the domain
you wish to delete, enter the key, and hit the "Delete" button.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: this feature is provided as a courtesy and with the sole
purpose of correcting mistakes during registration. DotRegistrar at it's
sole discretion may limit and/or cancel the credit of DRYs.

The domain name I want has
expired according to the WHOIS record. Why can't I register
that name?
The WHOIS record "expiration date" simply indicates
the current contract period for a domain name registration.
Contract periods vary from one to ten years. If you fail to
pay your registration fee, your domain name registration is
subject to deactivation and eventual deletion from our systems
under normal billing procedures and technology requirements.
Many factors may cause the "expiration date" to
vary from the eventual date of deletion.
If you want a domain name near to be expired you can use DomWis(SM)
Domain Back-ordering to monitor the exact time the domain
will be available for you to register.

I have many domains registered
with other registrars, how do I transfer them to DynomiteHost.com?
1. Select the profile where you want the transferred domains
to be stored.
2. Use the "Initiate a domain transfer" option.
3. In the big text box, enter the domain(s) you wish to transfer.
4. Enter a key (password) for the domain(s).
5. Hit the "send" button.
An e-mail requesting the transfer will be sent to the admin
contact of the domain.
The transfer process takes about 7 working days from the day
the admin replies to that e-mail. You have to be legally authorized
to request the transfer.

I just registered a domain
with DynomiteHost.com and if I check the availabilty of the
domain in any WHOIS, the domain shows up as available. Why
is that?
The domain is registered instantly, but since the WHOIS database
(the global domain databse) takes about 24/72 Hs to get updated
worldwide. You will have to allow that time period for the
domain to show up as registered by you.
^top
Is the transfer from other
registrars to DynomiteHost.com FREE?
Yes, the trasfer itself is FREE, you are only charged 1 DRY
(Domain Registration Year) for the added year to the expiration
date. For example: If you have a domain at Network Solutions
that expires on March/2009, and you transfer it to DynomiteHost.com,
you will be charged 1 DRY and the domain will expire on March/2002.

I have initiated a transfer
from another registrar, is there anyway I can see the status
of my transfers?
Yes, using the "Listing Transfers" option in your
account, here are the transfer status situations:
Canceled: Transfer canceled upon request, DRY credited
back.
Denied by Mail: The Admin contact denied the transfer.
Denied by RRP: The REGISTRAR denied the transfer.
Initied in RRP: The transfer has been processed.
Mail Sent: We are waiting for the transfer Approval
e-mail.
Send Manual Mail: The transfer has to be processed
manually.
Pending: The WHOIS information is being gathered.
1. If the transfer is canceled upon request and you wish
to initiate the transfer again, since the DRY was credited
back, you can initiate again as if it never happened.
2. If the transfer is "Denied by Mail" this means
that the admin contact of the domain did not approve the transfer.
3. If the transfer is "Denied by RRP" this means
that the current REGISTRAR denied the transfer, the probably
reasons are that the domain is not old enough (60 day waiting
period) or it can be locked or on-hold. In any of the cases
you should first contact the current registrar to know what
happened.
4. If the transfer is "Initited in RRP" this means
that it has been processed normally. Now, if more than 10
days have passed since it was processed then it means that
the current REGISTRAR did not approve the transfer, you should
contact support@DynomiteHost.com
to cancel the transfers.
5. If the transfer is in "Mail Sent" this means
that we have not received the transfer approval e-mail yet.
If the admin contact has sent the transfer approval e-mail
and the transfer is still in "Mail Sent" it means
that our automated system did not understand the approval,
so you will have to send it again, if all this did not work,
please contact support@DynomiteHost.com
6. If the transfer is in "Send Manual Mail" it
means that the current REGISTRAR does not use a standard WHOIS
service or the WHOIS database was not working properly when
the transfer was initiated, you should contact support@DynomiteHost.com
to make them manually process it.
7. If the transfer is "Pending" then it means that
our system is gathering the registrant, contacts and DNS records.

Registrations by e-mail
For your convenience, you can register domains via e-mail,
with a few simple steps. If you wish to do this, you must
contact the support staff, in order to obtain the e-mail registration
template, and to have the account enabled for e-mail registrations.

I want to forward
my domain to another URL, how can I do this?
Domain forwarding allows you to redirect or "point" your
domain name to
another location. Most often, this is used if you own multiple
domain names
and want to "point" them to the same web site. In
order to use the URL forwarding service, the profile has to
use our
parking nameservers, if it's not already using them, you
must first choose
the profile and then use the option: "Ask for a Global
DNS change".
After that, you can choose which URL you want the domains
in that profile
forwarded to.
Please keep in mind that since the forwarding service is
free, the forwarded
page will have a DynomiteHost.com banner in the website.
We have now included a 'Premium Forwarding Service' from
which you are
charged 0.5 DRY for each domain you wish to forward,
and it will NOT include
any banners nor pop up adds in the forwarded page.

What is the Domain Monitor?
For only 0.1 DRY per domain (yes, 1/10th of one DRY only!),
this new system
automatically checks your domains or any others you're
interested in and
notifies you by email if the following information changes:
DNS, Registrar,
Status, or Expiration date.
Stop worrying about undesired changes in your domains and
know immediately
if the status of any domain you want changes (i.e. if
a domain you want
becomes available)
This works for the domains that are registered with DynomiteHost.com,
as
well as domains registered at any other REGISTRAR,
as our system checks
the
SHARED WHOIS database for any updates.

New International Phone Number Format
All phone numbers should be now written in the international format, for the
domains to have accurate telephone information. The international phone
number format is +ccc.nnnnnnnnnn, where "ccc" is the country code,
"nnnnnnnnnnn" is the phone number without spaces or dashes in between and it
makes no difference how many digits the number has (e.g. for US customers
the phone number should look like +1.3602532210).
